MBA is always far better than M.COM,reasons
MBA is a technical degree where as M.COM is non technical, and in any field demand of a technical degree is always huge,a technical degree will allow you to apply for good post and job in both private and government sector.Where as M.COM will hold good only for government sector as it is a non technical degree.

But it is important that you do your MBA from a reputed college or university, then only it will be good, otherwise you will have to toil hard for jobs. But still a technical degree is far better than a non technical one.

After B.Com you should opt for MBA rather than M.Com. MBA is in great demand in
professional world. Every yeat many companies recruit MBA peofessional from
various B-Schools from India. You should look to do your MBA from other place such
    as Delhi, Bangalore,Mumbai etc.

Friend according to your statement why you are thinking about Jabbalpur you can do MBA from IIM also. According to me both are good courses you can do one of them as per your viability.IF you go for IIM colleges to do MBA then you are to appear CAT(Common Admission Test)MBA Entrance examination. This is the best MBA entrance examination and conducted by Indian Institute Of Management for IIM colleges though many more MBA colleges prefer CAT score.TO DO cat or other MBA entrance examination you have to obtain minimum 50% marks in Graduation from the recognized University.Relaxations are there for S/C S/T candidares.A final year candidate can appear MBA entrance examination too.

If you select to do M.Com after B.Com then it is also good course you can join as lecturer in GOVT.Colleges.For this purpose you are to complete NET(National Eligibility Test).Having NET score a PG degree holder can join in GOVT.Colleges easily.More
over to do NET & MCom you need minimum fees than MBA.

    Thank YOu,
