    Hai,

The percentage limit in the 10th class is not important but if any case the percentage is important in any jobs then its 50% to 60% of marks.

But in 12th standard it is really require percentage to apply the government jobs i.e 55% to 60% of marks is allowed.

In some notifications the percentage is not required to apply the jobs.

Some of the jobs after 12th standard.

    Army,
    Navy,
    Airforce,
    Bank clerk,
    Group exams,
    Railway,
    Police constable etc.

    All the best

BEFORE APPLYING ANY GOVERNMENT YOU MUST BE A 18 YEAR PERSON AND SHOULD BE AN INDIAN CITIZEN.
THE PERCENTAGE OF MARKS DIFFERS FROM DEPARTMENTS TO DEPARTMENTS.
YOUR PERCENTAGE MUST BE AT LEAST 55% FOR APPLYING ANY GOVERNMENT JOBS.HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME SECTORS WHICH DEMANDS FOR 60% AND ABOVE IN 10th AND IN 12th CLASS.SOME OF THESE SECTORS ARE S.B.I,R.B.I,AND FOR HIGHER LEVEL OF POSTS.

    Dear friend
    Their is not any specific
    percentage for government jobs.
    The percentage required for
    every government jobs or
post may differ from each other.
    The percentage is also depend
upon the the category to which
    the candidates
    belongs. but generally the
    candidates with atleast 60 %
(may vary) marks can apply for
    government jobsso before
applying to any post you should
    read and understand the
    eligibility criteria

Re: Percentage limit in 10th and 12th to get government job?

    dear friend,
To apply for a govt. job or any kind of private job in a renounced company , you have to mention the percentage of marks you have secured in 10th and 12th class.

Because 10th and 12th class are the base for your future career.
So, it is necessary to have good percentage in 10th and 12th class.
That's why they ask about your 10th and 12th class percentage..

Most of the public sector unit's have mentioned 60% aggregate throughout the career.
It includes 10th and 12th class also...

So, if you don't have 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th class then sorry to say you that you will not be able to apply for those public sectors...

    All the best.

    Dear Friend,

For certain post only there will be a limit, like if you are applying for VA (Village Accountant) and bank exams then you percentage should be more than 60%.

If you are applying for Clerical posts or Grade C or D post then there will be no limit for percentage. You selection will be only on the percentage you obtain in the competitive exam..
