    Person with graduation from distance learning eligible for civil services Exams?

    sir m pursuin ba from a distance learning institute..
    can i try for civil services xam after i complete my graduation ????

    Dear Aspirant,
    Any candidate complete his graduation from distance mode or regular mode can eligible for Civil Service exam that must have obtained graduation from recognized University.final year student of graduation in any discipline can eligible for Indian Civil Service exam.If your university is recognized university by (University Grants Commission) U.G.C and (Distance Education Council)D.E.C you are eligible for this exam
    All India Civil Service Exam also called I.A.S or I.P.S exam.This exam conducts one time in a year.This Exam is conducts by Union Public Service commission.This Examination notification generally released in the month of January.
    Civil Service exam have three steps,In First step is Preliminary Exam,Second Step is Mains Exam.Third one is Interview.
    If you want to attend mains exam,You should qualify in Preliminary Exam.
    Preliminary Exam have two Papers,Paper-I is General studies,Paper-II Civil Service Aptitude Test.First you should prepare for this exam now on wards.These two papers contains objective type of questions.
    So no doubt,You are eligible for this exam when your university recognized.

    Yes, You are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination after completing Graduation form Distance Education, Because In Notification it was not mentioned that only regular candidates are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination.

    >> So, Any graduate passed candidates are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination.

    >> So, After completing your Graduation degree course form a recognised university candidates are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination, This examination was Conducted by UPSC Comission every year and the examination was Conducted into 2 stages - Preliminary examination and Main examination. Firstly candidates have to cracked the preliminary examination and Only then you are eligible to sit in Main examination.

    >> Preliminary examination was Objective and there are 2 papers in Preliminary examination and Both these paper was Held in Same Day. But the Main examination was Descriptive and for this you have to choose the Optional subject as per you Interest OR according to Graduation subject basis.

    >> To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    Yes, a candidate is eligible for Civil services examination after completing Graduation form Distance Education. But the graduation degree should be done from a university which is a government approved one.
    In this way any graduate passed candidate in any stream from a government approved university is eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination.
    So it doesn't matter that the degree is gained regularly or by distance learning course, both are eligible to sit in Civil services examination.
    the age of the candidate should be between 21 and 30 years.
    ABOUT CIVIL SERVICES EXAM
    Civil services exams are conducted by Union Public Service Comission every year. A eligible candidate should have to complete 3 stages to be selected finally.
    1. Preliminary exammination.
    2. Main examination and
    3. Personal interview.

    i have government job as a primary teacher. I m 12th science passed but i am not graduate. I have also a diploma certy o3 pharmacy. Now i want 2 try for IAS. So what can i do for graduation?

    hello sir., is it possible to take up distance learning graduation course along with regular course if we wanna have dual master's degree in 2 different courses... and will both degree will be valid for any upsc or government or any kind of job...

    sir/madam,plz tellme the distance education degree (DEC,UGC approved) in bca is acceptable in ssc ,banks,upsc -naval acadmy exams ,IFS and in other comp.exams.

    University.final
    year student of
    graduation in
    any discipline
    are also eligible for
    Civil
    Service exam.if your university is a recognised university by ugc then you can apply.

    • Yes, definately you are eligibile to appear in the civil services examination organised by UPSC.
    • But for that you must have the bachelor degree in any stream with a minimum passing.
    • The distance learning institute from which you are pursuing BA should be an recognised from DEC/UGC/ or any state or central government in order to be eligibile.
    • There is also an age bar where limit ranges from 21 years to 30 years.
    • Age relaxations is given only if you are from an reserved category like for obc students it is is 3 years and for sc/st students it is 5 years.
    • As an first step, you need to appear in preliminary examination, then main exam and at last there is an interview.
