    State level eligibility test is performed for the appointment for the post of lecturers
    in various state universities and colleges
    it holds exam in states for the recruitment of lecturers
    eligibility is msc from recognized university having 55%marks
    for sc/st 50% marks
    more important thing is that there is no rounding off in case of marks for example 49.99% cant be changed to 50%
    those who are in final year can apply
    the paper will consist of 3 parts:
    ist part - objective type this wil be common paper
    2nd paper-subject concerned it will have 50 questions
    3 paper- descriptive type in subject concerned


    go through the newspaper or employment newspaper in middle of march every year for details

    Full detail regarding SLET Exam :- SLET stands for STATE LEVEL ELIGIBILITY TEST and organized examination by various colleges in India.There are total 8 states conducted entrance exam one by one every year.

    You must completed Master level degree for SLET examination and at least 6 CGPA grade is required .

    MC Square Education Pvt.Ltd. PROVIDE proper guidence related to SLAT examination.

    They also provide study material and books as well course packages for SLAT exam.

    SLAT examination is conducted in Social Science,Electronic subject and Computer science field.

    The basic qualification to be a Lecturer also called as Assistant professors is pass in SLET examination.

    Similarly anyone qualifies SLET exam conducted by particular state will be eligible for the Assistant professor post in Colleges and Universities in the concerned state.

    Dates of SLET exam differs for each state.
    You could have provided the name of your state.

    6.Eligibility:

    a)A minimum 55% in your postgraduate exam.

    b)You must not be more than 28 years of age.

    SYLLABUS OF TEST:


    The syllabi for all the papers are that of UGC/CSIR examination. For Science subjects viz Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences, Paper-I will be according to syllabi of UGC NET, the Paper II will be from the syllabi of Section(B) of Paper-I of CSIR and Paper-III will be from syllabi of Paper-II of CSIR. The syllabi for all SET subjects can be downloaded from the H.P. Public Service Commissionís website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc. The syllabi can also be downloaded from UGC website www.ugc.ac.in. This agency will not supply the copies of syllabus to the individual candidates.

    CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY


    a) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís Degree OR equivalent examination from university / institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this test. The Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Physically Handicapped (PH) / Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this test.
    b) Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Masterís degree (final year) Examination or whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed, may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Lecturership eligibility only after they have passed their Masterís Degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PH/ VH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
    c) The Ph.D degree holders whose Masterís level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
    d) Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post -graduation only. The candidate, whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subject mentioned above, may appear in related subject.

    The eligibility condition for this test is Master's Degree with at least 55% marks For General and 50% For SC/ST.

    The syllabus of all the papers is all that of UGC/CSIR examination.

    State Level Eligibility test is an exam conducted for the posts of teachers and lecturers in Government Schools and colleges.This conducted by the University Grants commission in some states.The list of the states where the SLET EXAM is conducted is mentioned below:
    Andhra Pradesh,
    Madya Pradesh,
    Himachal Pradesh,
    Rajasthan,
    West Bengal,
    Tamil Nadu,
    Jammu kashmir,
    Maharashtra.

    Eligibility details:Candidates must have completed Post Graduation with at least 55% of marks and SC/ST candidates must have 50% of marks.

    Paper - III carries a total of 200 Marks, and consists of only descriptive questions from the syllabus of the subject selected by the candidates

    SLET entrance exam is the State level Eligibility test for the lecturership job post .

    SLET entrance exam which has been conducted by AP government

    And in the SLET entrance exam you have a option to choose the one langugae ( english or talgu) .

    SLET entrance exam has been held in april ist week.

    SLET entrance exam paper pattern:

    logical Reasoning 30 questions
    Legel reasoning 30 questions
    analytical reasoning 30 questions
    general knowledge 30 questions
    Reading comprehension 30 questions

    Eligibility for the SLET entrance exam:
