    Qualifications required to write the Bank Exam?

    Hi sir iam vasanth now doing b.tech final year. I want to knw the qualifications to write bank exams . Is there any bank giving qualification as 12 th standard pass? Pls reply soon...

    Dear Aspirant,

    In Banking Sector we have two major sector Jobs those are as follows
    • Bank Clerical Cadre Jobs
    • Bank Probationary Officers Jobs
    In India We have total 26 Nationalized Banks,In These 26 Nationalized Banks,19 Banks are recruited by I.B.P.S
    Remaining Banks are S.B.I and S.B.I Associated Banks those recruitment is done by S.B.I

    Educational Qualifications for I.B.P.S Clerical Cadre

    If you want to apply for I.B.P.S Clerical Cadre Posts,You should obtained minimum 10Th with 60% of marks (OR)Intermediate or equivalent to Intermediate with 50% of marks for General Category Candidates other than General category candidates no need minimum percentage(OR)Any Graduate can also eligible for these Posts.

    Educational Qualifications require for S.B.I Clerical Cadre Posts
    A candidate with minimum Intermediate qualification with 60% of marks can eligible for to apply this exam.For SC/ST candidates should have minimum 55% of marks.

    Educational Qualifications for Probationary Officers for I.B.P.S and S.B.I
    A candidate should attained minimum Graduation from recognized university with minimum pass marks can eligible to apply for Bank Probationary Officers Posts.

    The candidate wo want to apply for the above posts should fullfill the given eligibility criterias given below-

    P.O-

    26 Nationalized Banks,19 Banks are recruited by I.B.P.S

    10th and 12th pass student give the exam of ibps.
    age limit for ibps is between 18 to 25.
    The relaxation of 5 year,3 year and 10 year will be given to sc/st,obc and ph category candidates respectively.

    Hello,
    Qualification for Govt. Bank exam for the post of Probationary Officer is Graduation in any discipline from the recognized university. In some banks they ask percentage of 60% or more in graduation, it varies. If candidate is 12th pass than he can apply for bank Clerical exam. For clerical age criteria is 18 to 28 years for general category and upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories as per govt. rule. For PO age limit is 21 to 30 years , for general category 30 age and age relaxation for other categories as per rule.

    It conducts bank examination per annum .
    I provide you details about the eligibility criteria for the bank examination.

    1) Education Qualification:
    You should be qualified in under graduation in any stream with minimum 60% percentage of marks in recognized university . if your belonging from sc/st candidates then the relaxation is given for 55% percentage of marks

    Age Limit :Candidate should be 18 years to 28 years and the relaxation is given to sc/st candidates for 5 years , obc candidates for 3 years

    Extra qualification : Extra qualifications are increasing the chance of getting the job,The preference should be given to a Candidate knows any of the computer software and typewriting.

    education :: You must complete intermediate pass with 50%.
    age::18 to 25 years.
    relaxation for bc is 3 years.
    relaxation for sc/st is 5 years.

    There are various types of jobs in the banking sector but for the posts of Clerks and Probationary officers the competitive entrance exams are conducted almost every year and there is always demand in banks for these posts. There are total 26 nationalized banks in India out of which 19 banks are covered by the IBPS and the remaining are SBI and SBI Associated banks.     The qualification required for writing bank exams depends on the post you are applying for:

    For PO and Management Trainee, the minimum qualification required is a graduation degree with 65% marks
    For IT Officers and marketing Officers, minimum 655 marks from a recognized university with a post graduation in MBA,MCA or an engineering degree
    For clerks, minimum XIIth pass with 605 marks in aggregate

    Age required is 18 years to 30 years

    In the Banking sector so many jobs opportunity in which you can apply on the basic of the your qualification...
    For the jOb in the banking sector you have to write the entrance exam under the exam which has been conducted by the own departments or the IBPS institute in which 19 banks participated...

    Eligibility for the Bank exam:

    For the Clerk post:
    YOu should be passed the 12th with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university.

    There are two types of exams for banks.
    1. Clerk Exam.
    2. P.O Exam.
    IBPS conducts the above exams and if you are successful in the above exams then you are eligible for 19 banks through out India.Other than that you are also eligible for other banks also.

    The Age limits of the BANK CLERK exam are as follows:

    * Candidates must have completed 10th or 12th with atleast 55% to 60% of marks.

    * Must have 18 years of Age.

    * Maximum 30 years of age for General category students.

    * Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories.

    * 5 years for SC/ST categories.

    * 3 years for OBC categories.

    * 10 years for PH categories.

    The above mentioned are the eligibility details of IBPS CLERK exam.

    The Age limits of the BANK P.O exam are as follows:

    On Basis of SSLC / Intermediate you are eligible for applying Clerical post in Banking sector only if you have passed out SSLC with 60% or Intermediate with 55%.


    After completion of Graduation you will be eligible for both Clerical Assistant as well as Probationary officer post.

    Friend...Now a days bank jobs proved as a best carrer for the students.Every year many students get selection in various banks on clerk and PO post.

    Before some years all the banks conduct the written exam on their own basis but now IBPS (Institue of Banking Personnel Selection) conduct the CWE (Common written exam) every year for po and clerk post for 19 public sector banks except State Bank of India.SBI follow their own selection procedure.

    Eligibility for SBI---

    PO--- for po candidate should be graduate with 55% from recognise university.
    Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year for general candidate. Relaxation
    for obc/sc/st/pd.

    Clerk-- you must 12th pass with 60% marks for general candidates. 55% marks in 12th for sc/st
    or Any degree with pass marks from any recognized university

    Age should be between 18 to 28 years for general candidates. Relaxation for sc/st is 5 year and relaxation for obc is 3 year/pd 10 year.

    the candidate should eligible to apply to the banking sector clerical assistant only when following the eligibility criteria.............
    1.person should be a citizen of india.
    2.his/her age should be 18-28.
    3.the candidate have passed out sslc with atleast 60%/just pass out his graduation....


    by completing your graduation...then only you are eligible for applying officer post.

    Probationary Officer
    Clerks examination

    Eligibility Criteria is differ from Bank to Bank.

    Probationary Officer :-

    The applicant have to passed graduate degree in any desire subject of a recognized University or equivalent examination and the applicant must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination.(50% aggregate marks is given to the reserved categories).

    Those who are pursing in the final year of degree may also eligible to apply for PO examination in some banks and not for all the Banks.

    The applicant age should be between 21 years and 30 years and upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC categories.


    Clerks examination :-

    The applicant have to completed 12th examination in any stream of a recognized School or equivalent examination and the applicant must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination(55% aggregate marks is given to the reserved categories).

    Graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for Clerks examination in some banks and not for all the Banks.
