    Hi Guest,

It is good to hear that you got job in railways and your starting salary is also good. As you are a fresher now you can start your career with this salary and as days goes on your salary increases for sure.

If you get into IT sector the jobs will not be stable and if there is no boom for Software you ail be removed from the post. So I suggest you to go for railway job as this can be permanent for you and the salary also increases as you gain experience.

    Thank You,

    All the Best.

    Hello dude!

Your question is so simple when we look but very difficult when we analyze.

But i suggest you to prefer Government job why because you will have many opportunities when compared with software job.

    The key points are:

    1. There is security for your job in government sector but there is no security in software job.

    2. Govt. Job will be a permanent job but in software job,you cannot be permanent. If IT boom is less, who knows you may be the first person to be kicked out of the firm.

    3. Work load will be less in government sector when compared with private job.

4.Though salary is less in the initial months in govt. Job but as your experience increases automaticaly ur income also increases.

    5. Growth will be more in govt. Job than in private job.

    6. Competition is too fast in private job.

So,consider all the above points and think on your own and select a job which will make you happy.

HOPE THE INFORMATION HELPED YOU AND ALL THE BEST

    Dear Aspirant;

You have to choose Railway Job, because its a Central Government Posts.

If your choose Software jobs then surely starting you will get 10k per month, but you have to work hard as there is too much competition in Software field.

    With regards

    Hello Dear

This is Saurav from Bhubaneswar.Well first of all congrats you have got a wonderful job in railway. If you want my opinion then I would first of all like to suggest you to join that Railway job.If you have also got another job (probably software job) waiting for you then only you should think about joining that software job because you are a graduate in CSE.But then again if you have only Railway job in your hand and no software job then your case is very different.According to me deferring the present job (Railway job) and going in search of a job in software industry is not a good idea at all.You never know how worse the situation could be.

Just imagine now you are preferring to go for a job in software industry by deferring the railway job and in that initial phase of doing so you got too many number of rejections, then you will definitely regret that you have rejected a job and software jobs are rejecting you.In either way who knows ,you may get into the software industry by putting in a less effort and less struggle. So the choice is definitely yours.Sometimes your parents or friends or any of your guardian may force you to take unwanted decisions. But its ultimately you, who would be working. So you have every right to think and act.Let me remind you.You have not scored 60 to 65% in your b.tech.This could well be an area of trouble when it come to eligibility for getting into IT industry.

So choose which one is best suitable for you.Forget what others say.Take your own decision.Hope my suggestion would definitely help you redefining a better future.Best of luck

    Regards Saurav

    Dear
First congrats for your selection in india railway. if you are the person to grow with good growth in your life you can join the public sector but make sure your fully prepared to settle your life on there grounds of exepectations by the company for which you will be working. If you dont want to run your life than you can join the govt job as there you bill fully depended what you have to do & wait for the constant period to get growth in your life.
    Best of Luck

    Dear Aspirant.

-->>As a Computer science engineering Graduate you should aim to have a career in Software sector.

-->>You have a bright career as Software developer as this will suite perfect to your education.

-->>Who says there is not a huge career prospect in software sector you can find plenty of opportunities as software engineer.

-->>Each and every sector have the requirement of a software engineer.

-->>And the perk and allowances and salary in Software sector is way higher than any kind of job filed.

-->>So I would suggest you to choose your career as a software engineering rather than railway job.

-->>You appraisal in Railway sector will be very slow and at the time of retirement you would get 35,00 maximum but you at the age of 40 you would

be getting above 1 Lakh of salary in software sector.

    All the best.

    Thanks & regards.
