hi You can start attending interviews in your final year. You can try attending on campus companies else you can try for off campus companies which are asking for freshers. You are also eligible to write some of the written test exams conducted by the state and central govt for entering into public sector companies and if selected in those test , you will be shortlisted for interview. You can also take up exams like GATE , which many psu's are inneed of that score.

Being a final year you will not be able to apply for government jobs based on graduation level.

However after your completation of your degree ,you will be eligible for applying for various government jobs.

The candidates minimum age should be of 18 years.
As you have technical degree,thus the degree must be approved from the AICTE.

If you are a 4th year student of Computer Science Engineering, then you may surely apply for any jobs that you like. This is because right after 4th year you would be exposed in the market and so you should start applying for the jobs from now itself.

You have not mentioned which college you belong to, as I must tell you that the college conducts the campus placements which is a lot more easier to get a job than off campus placement drives.

So First thing I would suggest you is to apply for the on campus interview.
You would get more details about this from the Placement cell of your college as to which companies are coming to visit your campus, and what are their required eligibility Criteria's as every company sets a different ad new criteria every year based on their requirements.

If you are not getting placements in the campus, then be sure that off campus also won't fetch you much hope. The competition outside is much more than what you have to face in the campus. Still you can apply in the companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, etc and then after clearing the interview you can get jobs in them.

The starting salary ranges from 1.8 lacs p.a to 5 lacs p.a based on what quality a professional are you.

There are lot of Jobs available in the IT and ITES sector. I hope you had campus selections as is the case with many colleges. There is also and opportunity with the JKC who organise campus drives. Otherwise also you can apply for off campus jobs and browse through few companies offering fresher openings. If your percentage is good and you have good communication skills & analytical skills you can browse through the companies minimum requirement and apply.
