1.Both private and government sector having their own value.
2.In private sector you can earn money more while in government sector salaries are less.
3.The private jobs is not secure while government jobs is secure.
4.Lot of side benefits are available in government sector.
5.Medical treatment is free for government employees.
Since you are CSE graduate so it's depend on your interest. In software side there is a risk in job and mental tension where as there is no tension in government sector.

    Hi....
In Indian railways there are different division, each controlling a particular function. Every division has a certain number of technical and non-technical departments, which form the base structure on which the railways function.
Technical departments are: civil, technical and mechanical engineering, signalling and telecom, several others dealing with similar disciplines....
Non-technical departments are: accounts, personnel management, Railway protection Force (RPF) or security and traffic servicesEach department has staff at various levels. The highest are the Group A officers, while the lowest in rank are the Group D staff members.Final year student are not eligible for these exam you must have atleast bachalor in any field.

    Hello,
It depends on you that you want join private or government sector, well as compare to private, govt. sector much better than that because of security of job, if any time recession comes than you are not worry about job because there will not be any effect on your job, this is main reason. Other thing is in govt. sector service is smooth as compare to private, in private every time you will face pressure regarding work. In govt. sector so many national holidays, sometimes other reason for holidays and you get so many leaves also which are paid as compare to private in govt. sector you will find more leaves and facilities. Pay scale is little bit less in govt. as compare to private but still comfort is there in govt.If you are interested in bank for probationary officer then that is also good choice after getting promotion you can reach at higher position and after clearing departmental exam for promotion. Other govt. sector you can see like UPSC, Railways, IES, BHEL, OGC, ISRO, etc..

    Thanks

Its not about which sector is better, its about your own interest that in which sector you would like to go.
    govt. Sector
    1. job security
    2. ease of working
    3. Probability of pension etc.
    4. Physical standard of candidate matters
    5. recession or inflation hardly matters

    private sector
    1. No job security
    2. working conditions depends on company
    3. more salary
    4. No pensions, etc
    5. physical standard doesn't matters

    Hi pal,
You a CSE student have pool opportunities in private sector than the Government sector. And obviously you have better opportunities in Banking sectors since your branch of study serves as the base for Database management. On adding a value added course on DBMS such as ORACLE you could a better place in your dream industry of Banking. Other than that you have openings at almost all reputed and other software concerns. But focusing towards the Govt. job you have limited number of oppurtunities in public serving organisational networks such as Railways,Postal,Electricity Board and such. On the par side you have good future in ISRO, BSNL where you must posses interest in research arena

    Dear friend
If you are excellent in your studies by having a good knowledge at programming languages then private sector is better for you because now-a-days software engineers are getting a huge salary when compared to government employees. For example a senior govt employee can a salary of 60,000 but a fresher software engineer with good skills can a get a salary of 1,00,000.so, as belonging to CSE it is better to try to become a software engineer.

Otherwise if you are not good at studies then you can try for govt jobs but you should have atleast 60% of marks.you can try for the following jobs if you are interested
    BANK JOBS
    RAILWAYS
    ISRO
    NTPC
    IRISET
    CIVILS

    SELECTION:-
Depends upon written test and interview

    AGE LIMIT:-
    35 for sc and st
    30 for oc and bc
    33 for obc

    All The Best
