    Selection for Inspector Post? Full details about the physical test, written test?

    I mean after applying for the post which exam will be conducted by selection board....i want full details about physical test,written test and interview details

    SELECTION PROCESS:
    The candidates whose applications are found to be in order shall be issued Admit Cards to
    appear in recruitment test. The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit
    card. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests:

    a) Physical Measurement: Candidates who are found eligible on verification of
    documents will be screened first for Height, Chest (for male candidates only) and Weight measurements.

    Note:- Those who do not qualify the Physical Measurement Tests will get eliminated
    from the process there only and will not be allowed to appear in further tests.

    (b) Written Examination – 200 Marks (100 Marks each paper)
    The PET qualified candidates will be required to pass the following examination with at least 50% marks in each written paper (excluding Interview) and 55% marks in aggregate (including Interview). The SC/ST candidates will be given concession upto 5% marks as per Govt. of India instructions.

    (c) Interview - 20 Marks:-The Candidates, who obtain the prescribed passing marks in
    written examination, will be called for Interview to check personal bearing, response, aptitude, general level of intelligence etc.

    (d) Detailed Medical Examination:
    Candidates shortlisted in order of merit will be put through a Detailed Medical Examination to assess their fitness.

    Eligibility::



    1. NATIONALITY:
      Applicant should be a bonafide citizen of INDIA.
    2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
      The minimum educational qualification required is a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
    3. AGE:
      20 to 25 years as on 01.01.2009, i.e. those born not earlier than 02.01.1984 and not later than 01.01.1989 will be eligible. The upper age limit as prescribed above will be relaxable only in the following cases:-
      1. Upto a maximum of 05 years,for ST
      2. Upto a maximum of 3 years, for OBC
      3. Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible upto 40 years (43 years for OBC, 45 years for SCs/STs) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police.

    Eligibility:


    Candidates should be in between 20 to 25 years of age as on 28 June 2010. There is age relaxation available for the reserved category candidates.

    Educational Qualification:

    bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized institute or university is the minimum educational qualification required for applying for the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector in Staff Selection Commission.

    No. of posts: Total 1000 posts are available for the position.

    Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800 will be given to the selected candidates.

    Selection Process:

    Candidates selection on the above specified post will be made strictly through the means of their performance in the written examination followed by a personal interview session with the selection committee.

    How to apply: An application fee of Rs. 100 (No Fee for the reserved category candidates) is need to be paid by the candidates. Candidates can also make their application online as well.

    • Physical Test
    • Written Exam

    One who qualified in Physical Test can eligible for written Exam.

    Physical Test
    • Height:A candidate have minimum 167.6cm,For SC/ST candidates have minimum 164cm
    • Chest: A candidate have minimum 86.3cm,For SC/ST candidate have minimum 83.80cm.all candidates should be expandable upto 5cm.
    • Weight:A candidate have minimum weight 47 kg.For SC/ST candidates minimum have 45KG.
    Written Exam
    This Exam have Four Papers,Those are as follows
    • Paper-I is English Descripitve paper(Qualifying only)-100Marks
    • Paper-II is Telugu Descriptive Papers-100Marks
    • Paper-III consist Arithmetic,Reasoning,Mental Ability(Objective Papers)-200Marks
    • Paper-IV is General Studies Objective Paper-200Marks

    1.Candidate should completed either graduation or degree from any recognised university.
    2.Minimum 55% aggregate in academics.
    3.Age limit for this post is 21 to 25 years.
    SELECTION PROCESS:
    1.Physical test.
    2.Written test.
    3.Medical test.
    PHYSICAL TEST DETAILS:
    1.5 kilometer running in 25 minutes.
    2.Events like 100m,800m,high jump,long jump and shot put.
    DETAILS REGARDING WRITTEN TEST:
    The written consists for 400 marks.Paper divide into 4 papers.The topics for this exams is aptitude and reasoning questions,general awareness questions and general english.

    Dear aspirant,

    There are 4 stages in the inspector selection.

    * first you need to be eligible to apply for the exams. your documents will be verified initially

    The criteria for applying this post are:

    you must be the citizen of india
    you must have a degree completed
    you must have an age of about 20-25 at the time of applying

    * secondly you must clear the written examination which will be held for 200marks. You will have 2 papers each consisting of 100

    * After you pass the examination you will be called for the interview process

    * When you get selected you have to undergo a complete medical test
