Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test :

Recently the govt of Tamil Nadu is announced the notification regarding TNTET exam,for requiting the teacher post in govt schools in this state.

For this post required educational qualifications are divided in to 2 class i.,e class 1-5 and second one is 6-8 class.

Educational qualification for teachers in 1 to 5 classes you must completed the 10+2class from recognized board and diploma in teacher education from any recognized teacher training institute.

Educational qualification for teachers in 6 to 8 classes you must completed the graduation degree with any one of subject such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, History and Geography from any recognized university.

Selection Processor and Syllabus :

The selection processor is based on the written test only,and written test consists of objective type questions from following sections;

For Class 1 To 5:

• Child Development and Pedagogy: – 30 Marks
• Language I (Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Kannada/ Urdu): – 30 Marks
• Language II (English): – 30 Marks
• Mathematics: – 30 Marks
• Environmental Studies: – 30 Marks.

For Class 6 to 8:

• Child Development and Pedagogy: – 30 Marks
• Language I (Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Kannada/ Urdu): – 30 Marks
• Language II (English) Compulsory: – 30 Marks
• Mathematics and Science: – 60 Marks

10+2 exam passed and diploma in Teacher Education from recognized Institute

If you want to be a government teacher, you should have completed D.T.Ed.,(after 12th std) or B.Ed(after a degree). Moreover you should have passed TET conducted by TRB, Tamil Nadu

You can buy the book in all the book shops. Especially Sura publications is available for both paper I and Paper II.

Try to get text books from 6th to 10th standard. It will be useful. Else you go with the books of Sura Publications which is available in all the book shops.
