    Is there any job for Civil Engineers after B.Tech in Government Sector? Is it true that B.Tech graduates can get bank jobs without appearing for exams?

    1]IS THERE JOB FOR CIVIL ENGINEERS JUST AFTER BTECH...IF YES THEN GIVE DETAILS
    2]is it true that a btech graduate can enter into bank jobs without apearin fr exams,,just after an interview?????

    Yes there are many jobs for B.Tech students you can apply IES exam.
    It is a three days exam based on your subjects the exam consist both objective and descriptive type papers.
    To get job in this you have good written skills, and good communication skills.
    In this exam negative marking is there.
    If you qualify in first paper then only your next paper will check . show you have get qualifying marks in all the papers.

    With out writing written exam you cannot go for interview if you are qualify in written exam then only you can appear for interview. I think no banks are conducting interview without written exam for B.TECH candidates.

    a) Ya sure there are govt jobs for B.Tech in civil.
    You can choose one of option.
    1. Architecture - There is requirement of engg to approve designs and make designs for houses.
    2. Structural Bridge Engineer - To design bridges. It comes under PWD work.
    3. Environmental Engineer - Major cities have env engg to lok after env aspects and impact of industrialization on env.
    4. Transportation Engineer - To manage road and transport related work.

    Other than this there are common jobs (common to all streams)
    1. CDS
    2. IES
    3. NTPC
    4. DRDO
    5. SAIL

    b) B.Tech are eligible for jobs in banks.
    But there is no relaxation to engg as well from appearing in exam.
    This may be the case in Private banks.
    But for public/govt one like SBI, it is compulsory to appear for entrance exam.
    Most banks have kept one common entrance now.
    Interview will be followed after qualifying exam.

    list of government sector jobs for civil engineers:

    you can prepare for IES for assistant engineer/officer in central sector.
    you can prepare for IAS exam. you can also apply for defence services..
    to apply in government sector, you should prepare for GATE exam as many psu companies are recruits through gate exam only like NTPC, IOCL, BHEL, DRDO, BARC etc...

    many psu comapnies conducts their own exam like SAIL, ONGC, BMRC etc...

    Yes there is a lot of jobs for Civil engineers in Government Sector after completing B.Tech. Besides, as you are a student of technical field, you will get a benefit of attaining a no.s of govt.jobs which, other streams of engineers does not receives. But, it is not true that B.Tech graduates can get bank jobs without appearing for the exam. Because, the ibps exam exam every year conducts the CWE Exam for the vacancies of 19 nationalized bank's job all over India.
    Here, I will discuss the different jobs for civil engineers in detailed point of view:

    The candidate can apply in some companies after being qualified in the GATE exam, like:

    1.ONGC(Oil & Natural Gas Corporation) in the post of Engineer/ supervisor-Trainee.

    2.BHEL(Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) in the post of Engineer/ supervisor-Trainee.

    3.IOCL(Indian Oil Corporation Limited) in the post of Engineer/ supervisor-Trainee.

    4.DVC(Damodar Valley Corporation) in the post of Engineer/ supervisor-Trainee.

    Besides, you can also apply in:

    5.The Indian Railways conducts RRB (Railway recruitment board) exam every year for railway vacancies all over the India.
    The B.Tech candidate can apply for the post of S.E.(Section Engineer) in Indian Railways.
    The age limit is:22-34 years for general category.

    6.The candidate can seat in the civil service exam which includes:
    a)IAS;
    b)IPS;
    c)IFS;
    d)IRS;
    The minimum educational qualification is the candidate must be a graduate from renowned University.And the candidate can

    is there any office jobs for girls in civil engg.?bcoz parents are not intrsd t send in field side even if it is govt job.
