    Dear,

You have got good aggregate marks in +2 as well as in BTech, so you various job opportunities in various sectors.
Please remember that private IT companies are the major recruiters of CS engineers and hence you have got good number of companies
like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant,Wipro, CSC where you can apply for S/w jobs.

For jobs in govt sector or PSU sector, vacancies are available but in less numbers. Although the questions are not so tough but the number of
applicants applying for any government vacancies is so high that the competitions get very tough.

I would suggest you that if you want good career then you should be ready for job opportunities in any of the private or govt sector.
You should not keep any restriction that you want job only in Public sector or only in IT companies. Now a days, every sector is
    providing good career growth.

Exams and exam pattern followed by Govt/PSU companies: Many companies like BSNL, MTNL, ONGC, SAIL recruit CS engineers by conducting
written exams followed by interview. Technical Syllabus is same as that of GATE exam or many other PSU exams of CS branch.
Written exam consists of Technical questions as well as APtitude and English questions.

Exams and exam pattern followed by IT companies: IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Patni, Cognizant, recruit by conducting college campuse placement
or Offcampus placement. The exam consists of 3 rounds:
    - Technical(Programming based questions)
    - Aptitude(Reasoning + Quant)
    - HR Round(Interview with HR managers to check your communication skills)

If companies come to your college for placements, then its good otherwise you should register yourself on job sites like Monster, Naukri
or elitmus, where you can get the information about vacancies for freshers as all Off campus walkin news.

Also keep checking the sites like freshersworld.com or sarkarinaukri.com for various job openings. Please let me know if you need any more help.

    Hello Dear

Since you are in your final year, you may expect some on-campus and off-campus drives to your college or nearby colleges. You should pull up your socks now and give you best in the written test and interviews .Your percentage till now shows that you are studious for sure.So concentrate on your studies now.

Sometime job fairs are also conducted in few cities where more that 15 to 20 companies participate. Normally IT companies visit the Universities to hire according to their requirement. So its important for you to satisfy the eligibility criteria

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    --> 60 % THROUGH OUT ACADEMICS
--> NO ARREAR OF BACKLOGS IN ANY SUBJECT DURING THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.
--> FLUENCY IN ENGLISH IS A MUST(good communication skills is mandatory)
--> EXPERIENCE OF 0 TO 12 MONTHS (HOWEVER FRESHERS MAY APPLY )
--> NO YEAR GAPS WHATSOEVER IN EDUCATION.

    VALUABLE TIPS:

--> Try to improve your communication skill by enrolling yourself in certain training institutes or by making a habit of reading newspapers, journals and watching news channels like CNN IBN and BBC news.

--> Devote equal time to technical and non technical subjectsdaily
. Get your own R.S. Aggarwal aptitude, reasoning books and start solving questions from each and every chapters. Also prepare competitive questions from the core technical subjects. Because you will allowed to show your talent only after you clear written exam.Non -technical questions are always asked almost in all competitive exams.

-->You should thoroughly learn all the basics and major concepts from any two of your favorite subjects. You may insist the interviewer to ask questions on those subject. But remember you should be justifiable to all the question asked from those subjects

--> Apart from all these start believing in yourself and be positive.Do your work and leave the rest on almighty.Forget about outcomes and give your honest attempt.

Since you haven't mentioned your 10th percentage .So its hard to determine your chances. If you satisfy above mentioned criteria then only you will get a good job in IT sector.See this above mentioned criteria are very important when you appear any interview in Cmm5 level or MNC of IT background. They will not negotiate on any criteria.so if you are satisfying above criteria then don't worry.keep trying. You may get your dream job soon. Anyways I am now going to provide you a list of some sort term courses that will help you getting a job.

LIST OF SHORT TERM COURSES ARE :

    1. JAVA including Core and Advanced JAVA.

    2. ORACLE .

    3. SAP (Some institutes also placement on this completion of this course)

    4. Hardware Networking.
    5. C , C++,C #,Visual C++.

    6. J2EE.
    7. DATABASE Management System.
    8. DOT NET.

    9. Software testing and Handling.

    10. Advanced C

By doing the any one of these short term courses you may get the software jobs in IT companies. But don't be in a hurry by going for more that one courses because if you mention too many courses in your CV then you will most likely get more questionings during interview.Thats were probability of getting rejection would be high

I hope you would be benefited by my post.Anyways best of luck for a bright and healthy career ahead.May god help you in achieving you dreams.

    Regards Saurav
