    hello friend,

    IAS is the Indian Administrative service for which entrance exam has been conducted by the UPSc department every year in the month of may ..IAS is the toughest exam under the government of india..

    IAS exam eligibility:

    Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university

    Age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years .
    5 years age relaxation for the Sc/St or 3 years age relaxation for the OBC.

    Nationality: Indian citzien.

    Selection process:
    1.preliminary exam
    2.Main exam
    3.Final interview

    In the written exam syllabus:
    General studies
    Questions related about world and country
    General aptitude
    Optional subjects

    Paper pattern:


    Important dates:
    issues of the notification: feb
    last date for apply: march
    exam date: may

    For IAS you need to write CSAT.


    It consits of two paper and each paper of Two hrs..


    (Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of
    • Current events.
    • History
    • Geography
    • Indian Polity and governance
    • Economic and social development
    • and General science.

    It is of purely objective type and qualifying exam...

    (Paper II) (200 marks)
    • Comprehension
    • Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    • Decision making and problem solving
    • General mental ability
    • Basic numeracy(Class X level)
    • English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

    It is of purely subjective type and followed by interview....
    Based on the overall ranking and your choice of cadre, you will be provided IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IAS or IPS. The higher your rank, the choice is with you.

    In case you have not not got a good rank and got into IFS, IAS or IPS, you may still become a Group A or B officer in the Central Govt.

    IAS is one of the Civil Services,which has to be conducted by the Union Public Services Commission in India.These civil services are one of the prestigious examinations conducted by the UPSC and these civil services are one of the toughest examinations when compared to other examinations.....
    There are some eligibility criteria which must be strictly followed in order to appear for the civil services......

    You must be the citizen of India for appearing to the civil services such as IAS/IPS....

    It also contains the mainly optional subjects in which you must select two subjects of your interest and these are based on the subjects of the graduation course and you can select two subjects and should give the examination on those subjects written test.....
    This is the pattern of written examination.....
    #Interview:
    after successful completion of the Main examination you will be called for the Interview and the over all ranking is done based on the Main examination performance and the Interview.....

    Dear guest, IAS Exam is considered as one of the most sort after competitive exams in India among its graduate youths. IAS exam proivide equal opportunity to all, to reach the apex of Indian administrative system.
    It is conducted by central body Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) every year in the month of May to select approximately 400 candidates to serve on the top notch positions in the Central Government and itsvarious departments. To appear in this exam the aspirants have to fulfill the eligibility conditions.
    >>Educational Qualification - Should be at least a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidateshaving professional and technicalqualifications recognised by the government are also eligible. Those who have appeared in the final year but do not have the result can also apply but they would have to produce proof of passing the exam with their application for the Main Exam.
    #Note: There is no minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination is (Pass only) required to be eligible for taking IAS Exam.
    >>Nationality:
    Must be a citizen of India.
    >>Age Limits: (21 - 30)years as on the 1st August of the year in which examination is being held.
    The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the SC/ST and OBC's.

    One Indian language (selected bythe candidate)300 marks

    #Paper (IV-V) -
    General Studies 300 marks.

    Any two subjects (optional papers to be selected by the candidate) with two papers each
