    There is no number of attempts limitation in MPSC exam.There is only limit in age.The age details for UPSC services is
    1.For general category 21 to 30 years.
    2.For OBC category 21 to 33 years.
    3.For SC/ST people 21 to 35 years.
    4.For handicapped people 21 to 40 years.
    So,until age requirement you can give the exams. The minimum required marks are 50% aggregate.Those who are eligible they can apply for this.The official website is www.upsc.gov.in

    Your age must lie in between 21 and 30 years of age (as on 1 August of the exam year)

    Relaxations of 5 years for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes

    Relaxation of 3 years in the case of Defense Services Personnel disabled in operations

    Relaxation of 8 years for Scheduled Caste candidate who is also a defense personnel, disabled in operations.

    Dear friend, the age limit for appearing UPSC and MPSC exam is 21 to 30 .For reserved category there is age relaxation ranging from2 to 5 years for maximum age limit.Maximum number of attempts allowed for UPSC exams is 4 for general category and there is no limit for reserved category .     Hello,

    There is no limit for attempting the MPSC and UPSC exams.
    But there is age limit.

    Age limits:
    General: 20-30 years
    OBC: Reaxation upto 3years i.e., 20-33 years
    SC/ST : Relaxation upto 5 years, i.e., 20-35 years
    Handicapped: Relaxation upto 10years, i.e., 20-40 years

    MPSC(Maharashtra Public Service Commission) and UPSC (Union Public Service Commision) :

    • According to UPSC and MPSC guidlines every candidate appearing for the Examination is Permitted 4 attempts at examination.
    • According to UPSC & MPSC guidelines ,For OBC candidates permitted 7 Attempts at Examination
    • According to UPSC and MPSC guidelines , For SC/ST the number of attempts do not apply.
    But this Guidelines are only for candidates eligible for required AGE LIMITS
    • Age Limits for General candidates - min 21 - max 33 years.
    • Age Limits for OBC Candidates - min 21- max 35 years.
    • Age limit for ST/SC/PH - min 38 - max 38 years.

    Eligibility Criteria for MPSC & UPSC examination.

    Academic qualification :
    1. You must be a graduate in SCIENCE.

    2. Engineering candidates are also applicable for MPSC examination.
    Age :

    The age of the candidate must be within 18 to 32 years in the time when you are doing the registration..

    About MPSC:-

    MPSC stands for MAHARASHTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation.Your age need to be between 19 to 28 years.You need to be physically fit.Your height need to be 165 cm.Your Chest need to be 84 cm.

    The subject`s included in MPSC exam are:-MARATHI,ENGLISH,GENERAL STUDIES-1,GENERAL STUDIES-2.

    Optional subjects in MPSC exam are:-Computer science and Mechanical engineering .For application forms visit the designated post offices.The cost of the application form is 100 /- Rs.Exam fee for General Category is 400/-Rs.Exam fee for Reservation Category`s is 200/- Rs.

    MPSC entrance exam and UPSc entrance exam both the Government exam you have a limit for the attemptition of exam
    For General : 4 attempts
    For Sc/St: no limits
    For OBC: 7 attempts

    Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university.

    age limit: age must be between the 2 1to 33 years.

    Even though the MPSC and UPSC Exams are different but their eligibility details and no. of attempts are almost same.

    The eligibility details of the MPSC Exams is as follows:
    • Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
    • Minimum 21 years of age.
    • The maximum age allowed is 33 years.
    • Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories.
    • 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
    • 3 years for OBC candidates.
    • 10 years for physically handicapped candidates.


    NO. OF ATTEMPTS:
    The Number of attempts vary for different categories.They are:
    • General Category-4 times.
    • SC/ST Category-Infinte that is they can write the exam as many times as they want.
    • OBC Category: 7 attempts.
    The above mentioned are the various details of the MPSC Exam.

    There are many exams conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.Some of them are: IAS,IPS,CBI,IFS,CID,GROUP EXAMS etc.

    The eligibility details for the UPSC Exams are:

    • Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
    • Minimum 21 years of age.
    • The maximum age allowed is 30 years.

    • sc/st - 38

    *open category - 33

    *education qualification

    must hold graduation-Degree in Science/Engineering. Transport Officer: Degree. Adequate knowledge of Marathi will be preferred

    *Physical:

    Height: 165 cms.

    Chest: 84 cms. (Unexpanded) for Supt. Prohibition & Excise or DSP/ACP


    this exam is conducted for the post of more but some of jobs i listed below

    *district transport officer

    *bank development officer

    *district inspector

    *deputy inspector

    *deputy collector

    * Nationality

    * For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.

    * For other services, a candidate must be either :

    * a citizen of India, or

    * a subject of Nepal, or

    Age Limits



    * The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable :

    * upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

    * upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

    * upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir .

    There is 4 attemps for general, 7 attemps for BC reservation persons and no number of attempts limitation for SC and St canditates in MPSC exam.There is only limit in age.The age details for UPSC services is
    1.For general category 21 to 30 years.
    2.For OBC category 21 to 33 years.
    3.For SC/ST people 21 to 35 years.
    4.For physically handicapped people 21 to 40 years.
    The minimum required marks are 50%.
