    The Maharashtra Public Service Commission which comes under the government of India conducts the written examination for recruiting people in various government offices or jobs. The jobs are mainly available in the state services in the state of Maharashtra. The candidates have to attend these exams to become eligible for various positions which are vacant in the state services.

    Yes, graduation is the necessary qualification for attending these exams. The candidates can be graduates in any discipline. The candidates have to acquire graduation or degree from any recognized university or college. The candidate should be below 33years of age. There is age relaxation in case of the reserved categories such as SC/ST and OBC and other categories.

    The OBC enjoy the age relaxation for about 3 years where as the SC/ST candidates have around 5 years. The candidates have to attend the exam in two parts where in the entry to the main exam can only be possible if clear the preliminary exam. The subject areas of the exam will include General studies, English, General Awareness and the subjects studied during their graduation and school level. The candidates should be proficient in the area of Local language Marathi in the state of Maharashtra.

    An MPSC exam is conducted in 2
    stages: first you need to appear
    for the MPSC Prelims exam and
    then for the main MPSC exam.
    The MPSC Prelims Exams are
    generally held in May, while

    MPSC Conducts Written Exams For Recruiting Peoples At Various Posts.
    The Posts Are Notified Through Employment News And On Website Of MPSC
    Graduation in Any Discipline Is Necessary As The Minimum Qualifications.
    Age Limit Is 21-33 yrs
    3 yrs relaxation to obc and 5yrs to sc/st candidates
    Exam Pattern Objective Type At Pre And Mains After That Interview.

    The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a part Indian Government which provides variety of posts in the Government offices. The exams are conducted by the MPSC for different cadres of officers in the Maharashtra State Services.
    There are mainly 03 classes of cadres
    Class I
    Class II
    Class III
    The MPSC exam is conducted in two phases i.e prelims exam and main exam.Both the prelims and the mains have two papers each. The prelims includes General studies and subjects like physics/chemistry/maths/biology/political science/Indian history/zoology/botany and the mains
    exam consists of Compulsory subjects i.e English,Marathi,General Studies along with the candidates optional subjects.
    Qualification Required:
    For the Class I and Class II Officers Exams, the candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university/board ,below the age of 33 years. For the OBC/SC/ST/NT categories the upper limit of age is relaxed by 2 5 years.
    Candidates who are appearing for the PSI/STI/Assistant Exams should be graduates from a recognized university.The age limit for the general category is 33 years and for the OBC & SC/ST/NT categories, it is 35 years and 38 years respectively.
    Yes, you can appear for MPSC exams with your graduation degree, provided you have the degree froma recognized university.

    The MPSC exam is conducted for candidates who aspire to join the state government service.
    This exam is conducted for various posts.
    There is both prelims which consists of questions from
    Gk,
    maths,
    physics,
    botany
    etc.
    and main exam which consists of english,
    marathi,
    general
    studies which are compulsory.
    The main exam will also have questions from list of optional subjects which you can choose from.
