    Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT)

    The eligibility for The Civil Services Aptitude Test is given as follows:
    Age: The candidate should have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.
    Nationality: The subject should be an Indian National either by birth or otherwise. Or
    • A subject of Bhutan Or
    • A subject of Nepal Or
    • A Tibetan refuge
    Educational qualification: The candidate should posses a valid degree from a recognized university.

    Eligibility Criteria for CSAT

    Age:
    The age of the general applicants should be between 21-30 years. A relaxation of 3 years is given to those belonging to OBC and 5 years to that for SC/ST candidates.

    Nationality: The subject should be an Indian National either by birth or otherwise. Or
    A subject of Bhutan Or
    A subject of Nepal Or
    A Tibetan refuge who came over to India before January1,1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Educational qualification:
    The applicant must be a graduate in any stream from any of the recognized Universities of India.

    also Candidates appearing for Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination.

    Civil Services Aptitude test is conducted by union public service commission.

    The Eligibility details of the exam are as follows:

    * Must be a citizen of India.

    * Must have completed degree from any recognized university.

    * Final year candidates can also apply.

    * Must have attained 21 years of Age.

    * Must not be 30 years for general category candidates.

    * Age relaxation provided as per Government.

    * 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    * 3 years for OBC candidates.

    The examination is conducted in three stages:

    1. CSAT APTITUDE TEST,
    2. MAIN examination is conducted for those who are selected in the prelims only.
    3. Interview round.

    These are the details of the CSAT EXAM.

    Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) is a test conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year to select candidates for the Civil Services Mains Exam.

    Age limit for CSAT:
    General Category: 30 years
    SC/ST: 35 years
    Physically Handicapped: 40 years

    Educational Qualification:
    You must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university
    Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2014 are also eligible for CSAT 2014
    The degree can be of any class (distinction, first, second etc.)
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    No. of attempts allowed:
    Even attending to one paper of CSAT (IAS prelim exam) counts as an attempt.
    Applying for CSAT but not attending for any paper DOES NOT count as an attempt.

    General Category - 4
    OBC - 7
    Physically Handicapped - 7
    SC & ST - No limit on number of attempts

    CSAT is the first stage exams of the UPSC Civil Services Exams.

    Eligibilty to apply for this exams is:
    Graduation pass in any stream
    No minimum marks required in Graduation
    Final year Graduation students can also apply

    Age- Between 21 years and 30 years
    OBC candidates can apply till 33 years
    SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years

    Attempts- 4 times in case of General category and 7 times in case of OBC Category
    SC/ST candidates can apply as many times as they want till they attain the maximum age to apply taht is 35 years

    Interview is the Last stage of the Selection process.
    Candidates can only face the Interview if they clear the CSAT and Mains exams.

    Civil Service Exam is conducted by UPSC in every year .This exam is conduct for various post like -IAS ,IPS ,IFS etc .

    Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for Civil Service Exam .Final year student are applicable for Civil Service Exam .

    The Minimum age should be for civil service exam is 21 years and the maximum age criteria is 30 years old.. Age Relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

    The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2014 are also eligible for CSAT 2014


    The degree can be of any class


    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    CSAT


    CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year to select candidates for the Civil Services.

    To appear in CSAT exam candidates must hold any degree(graduate) in any stream from any recognized university. Final year of graduation students also eligible.

    Age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years for general candidate. Relaxation for reserve candidate in upper age as follow- SC/ST Category 21 to 35 years, Physically Handicapped 21 to 40 years.

    In this exam, General Category candidate have 4 Attempts ,OBC have 7 Attempts, Physically Handicapped have 7 Attempts and SC/ST No limit for number of attempts.

    CSAT is the first stage of the upsc civil services exam.Government of India conducts Entrance Test for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Aptitude Test for all the persons who are all wish to get the job in this Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Aptitude Test.

    UPSC CSAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

    You must have any degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

    Your age should be between 21 years.

    The upper age limit varies for various categories:

    The relaxation in Nationality only for 3 other countries namely Bhutan, Nepal, Tibetan.

    Relaxation for SC / ST students of up to 3 years in the upper limit (i.e. 33).

    You must be an Indian.

    Students who are in the final year of their graduation in engineering are also eligible to apply.

    CSAT stands for Civil Service Aptitude Test.A entrance in civil services of India.

    Criteria to apply in CSAT.
    1)Graduation from any stream
    2)No percentage required.
    3)Must have done graduation from a recognized board.
    4)Age limit-21 to 30 years for general category
    21 to 33 years for OBC
    21 to 35 years for SC/ST
    21 to 40 years for physically handicapped.
    5)CSAT is a entry in all group A civil service that is in IAS,IPS,IRS etc.

    Final year candidates are eligible to apply.
    The scheme of selection is three stage

    1)CSAT-Preliminary-qualifying round
    2)Mains Exam
    3)Interview

    Exam is conducted and posting to respective rank is done as per as marks secured in mains and interview.
    Preliminary is just a qualifying round,total marks is mains exam and interview.

    CSAT exam is previously known as civil services,conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) which is a body for recruitment in high grade government jobs.
    It is conducted once in a year,the notifications are released in the month of February-March,exam is conducted in May.

    CSAT Exam
    CSAT exam is done for recruiting
