Re: What kind of jobs can ECE students do in ISRO?

ISRO recruits for the post of Scientist 'SC' (Electronics/Mechanical) in two ways:

    From IIST
Through central recruitment exam conducted by ICRB

IIST: Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

1st Way: You can get admission into IIST through JEE Mains and JEE Advance Exam. After completing your B.Tech. from IIST, you can get into ISRO by clearing an interview. Interview is very simple here and you will not have any problem in clearing it.

2nd Way: ISRO also recruits through a central level exam conducted by ICRB and then there will be interview which will be of fully technical in nature. Written is conducted in the month of April and interview in the month of June or July. You must complete your B.tech. in ECE or Mechanical with at least 70% marks.

Work is technical based but varies in nature based on the centre and the group you are allotted to.
