    IBPS is the exam conducting for 19 public sector banks.Recently recruitment for PO and CLERICAL post is over.
    QUALIFICATION:
    1.The minimum qualification for PO post is graduation.
    2.The minimum qualification for CLERICAL is 12th passed out.
    3.You should not exceed the 28 years age limit.
    4.You should be an indian citizen.
    5.You should have minimum 60% aggregate in all academic career.
    If you have above qualification you can apply for ibps post.

    You have not mentioned what is your educational qualification. Depending on your educational qualifications, only we can determine whether you are eligible for the IBPS entrance examination. The eligibility criterion for applying for the IBPS entrance exam for the post of clerk is as follows
    • The candidates should be between 18-28 years. The reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC and other categories will be given some relaxation
    • The minimum eligibility criterion for applying for the IBPS exam is a 10th class. The candidates have to secure at least 60% of marks in the 10th class.
    • The candidates who have completed the 12th class can also apply. But they need to secure at least 50% of marks in the 12th class.
    • The candidates who are graduates in any discipline can also apply for this exam provided they have scored at least 50% of marks in the written exam.

    All the above mentioned qualifications should be secured from recognized and reputed institutions. The candidates can apply online for the IBPS exam. The candidates who get short listed in the written examination can attend the personal interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the personal interview.     Minimum marks for IBPS clerical is 60% in SSC or 50% in HSC or Degree in any discipline from recognized university.
    Minimum age is 18 and Maximum 28

    The expected cutoff for IBPS 2011 as per experts is:
    (1) Reasoning 22-27 marks

    (2) English Language 12-18 marks

    (3) Quantitative Aptitude 21-26 marks

    (4) General Awareness 25-30 marks

    (5) Computer Knowledge 25-30 marks

    (6) Descriptive Paper 10-15 marks

    Indian Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) is organising a common written examination
    on 18 th september , 2011 for recruiting candidates for Management trainees and Probationary
    officers positions for some 19 Public banks . The eligibility criterion regarding age for this examination
    is that you must have attained 20 years of age as it is the minimum age required whereas the upper age
    being 30 years. Also regarding educational qualification, you must be graduate in any discipline from a
    recognised institute affiliated to a recognised university by Indian goverment. There is a relaxation in
    upper age for SC/ST and OBC and Physically disabled persons.

    The following are the qualification is needed for IBPS examination:
    For Clerk
    1. Candidate should be needed 60% marks in 10th/SSC class. or
    2. Candidate should be needed 50% marks in 12th/HSC class. or
    3. Candidate should be needed just passed in graduation.
    For MO/PO
    Degree in any recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized such as by the Central Government.

    Clerical Cadre Posts
    You should have a minimum Qualification 10Th standard with minimum 60% of marks for General Category candidates,Other than General category candidates no need minimum 60% of marks,Only need qualification

    The essential requirements for applying for the IBPS entrance examination are that the candidate should have passed 10th class from any recognized institution with minimum 60% of marks in 10th class.
    or

    The candidates who are graduates in any stream from any recognized university or college, with just pass marks can also apply for this exam.

    Minimum Qualification criteria for IBPS entrance exam :- IBPS entrance examination is conducted for Banking sector jobs and stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.Through this examination you can apply for the position of Bank Clerk .

    The eligibility criteria and educational qualification for IBPS entrance exam are following as :

    IBPS has provided minimum qualifying marks according to candidates category.
    Minimum qualifying for po & clerk are same.It is as follows:-

    1.For General category candidates:-Candidates must have scored 24 or above in each subjects.Failing to score that will lead to fail in that exam.

    2.For SC/ST/OBC category candidates:-Candidates must have scored 21 or above in each subjects.Failing to score that will lead to fail in that exam.

    Educational Qualifications for Clerk exams: You Should Complete your 10+2 from recognized
    board.
    You must have attained 18 years and must not
    be more than 28 years.
    You must be a citizen of India.
    Upper age Relaxations applicable for SC/ST(33 years) and OBC categories(31 years).

    The minimum for qualifying marks is varying each and every year.
    The mark is defined by ibps official.so,we cant say exact minimum mark.
    But,each section need near 24marks to pass..

    -->IBPS(Institute for Banking professional selection) conducts CWE(Common written examination) for various posts of banks.

    -->19 public sector banks have recognized this written test and interviewing candidates who are qualified in the IBPS exam.

    -->For clerical post the eligibility criteria in educational qualification is

    A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th

    std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM

    candidates a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std.

    IBPS exam:
    IBPS exam has been conducted by the IBPS institute in which 19 banks participated for the job pots in these banks through the IBPS exam and interview held by the own banks based on the IBPS score..

    After qualify the IBPS exam with good score you can apply for the interview on the based of the IBPS score...

    Those banks participated which are follows:


    Cut-off marks in every subjects are follows:
    1.Reasoning : in which you have score the minimum 24 score or above or 21 for the reserved .
    2,General aptitude: minimum 24 score or above or 21 for the reserved .
    3.General english: minimum 24 score or above or 21 for the reserved .
    4.Computer skill : minimum 24 score or above or 21 for the reserved .
    5.General knowledge : minimum 24 score or above or 21 for the reserved .

    with in the total marks you have to score the minimum 65% from the total for qualify in the banks for the interview.

    The ibps exam is containing the following sections

    1.Reasoning ability
    2.English language & descriptive
    3.Quantitative aptitude
    4.General awareness
    5.Computer knowledge

    Each section is for 50 marks

    To be qualified you should get the following marks

    For General candidates : 24 marks in each section
    For SC/ST/PH/OBC : 21 marks in each section

    After qualifying ibps you will get your score card
    This score card is valid for 1 years
    You can apply for bank interviews with in one year using the score card
    After 1 year you have to write ibps exam one more time
