    What is the qualification for the drug inspector exam? when these recrupment taking every year or sometime?

    The Drug Inspector examination is conducted by the UPSC. The notifications regarding the Drug Inspector exam will be generally published. The candidates can apply for the exam if they have all the required qualifications for the exam. The candidates should have a graduation in pharmacy. It should be taken from a recognized institution. The candidates should have studied chemistry as a compulsory subject. If the candidate has specialized in pharmaceutical sciences in medicine with microbiology or clinical pharmacology, they are also eligible to apply for this exam. The candidates should be between 21 – 35 years. There will be age relaxations in case of the reserved categories. Another important criterion being that the candidates should have at least 3 years experience in the drug manufacturing field. The candidates should prepare for the written exam thoroughly in order to get qualified. If the candidate gets qualified in the written examination and viva voce they can attend the personal interview. The candidates will be finally selected based on their performance in the written interview. This exam is mainly conducted in the month of February or March. The candidates can apply online for this exam. The details regarding this exam will be available in the official website of UPSC.

    For the drug Inspector examination, generally the essential requirements are that the candidates should have a graduation in pharmacy from any recognized university/college or the institution etc. The candidates should have studied chemistry as a compulsory subject. If the candidate has specialized in pharmaceutical sciences in medicine with microbiology or clinical pharmacology, they are also eligible to apply for this exam.The candidates should be between 21 – 35 years. There is provision of upper age relaxations in case of the reserved categories of SC/ST and OBC etc. Also, the candidates should have at least 3 years experience in the drug manufacturing field.The Drug Inspector examination is conducted by the UPSC.     Drug inspector exam Eligibility:

    • Interview and Record - 40 marks
    NOTE: Minimum qualifying marks for Selection : SCs, SC(A)s,STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs(Other than BCMs), BCMs - 102 marks and Others - 136 marks

    Hi

    Eligibility:

    1. Bachelor degree in Pharmacy(B.Pharm) or Pharmaceutical Sciences of Medicine in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University
    2.minimum eighteen months’ experience in manufacture.
    3.Aged between 21 to 35

    Exam pattern:
    a) The written examination will consist of two papers.
    The examination in Pharmacy(core subject) consists of 200 marks.
    b)General Knowledge will be in Paper-II consisting of 50 marks.
    c) Then there will be the Viva-Voce Test for 25 marks.

    non technical - includes
    Reasoning,
    aptitude,
    general knowledge,
    current affairs,
    math and
    English.

    paper 1 (pharmacy)
    maximum marks-200
    multiple choice questions-100
    exam duration-2hr

    paper 2nd (general knowledge)
    maximum marks-50
    multiple choice questions-50
    exam duration-1hr

    then there will be Viva-Voce Test for 25 marks followed by the physical fitness test which will be conducted..
