    Hello friend,
You should score at least 50% in your +2 exam for getting a Govt. job.

But the type of jobs may be reduced to low grade like LDC having Rs.1900 as grade pay.

If you complete any degree with 50% or more you will get a wider opportunity.

    Wish you all the best.

    Hello Member

This is Saurav from Bhubaneswar.Well I would like to make certain things very much clear.Since you are expecting answers for this query as soon as possible. So I guess may be you are going to appear your board exams soon that is why you might be asking this.Anyways let me tell you.Nothing is minimum score.Try to expect maximum out of this exam. Its not like someone will say you that 50% is a good score then you will try for just 50 % only.If this is the case then I am sorry. You would face a lot of trouble. What I am suggesting you now is to just concentrate on your studies rather than score.

But if you are still anxious to know about what can be a good score or a job fetching score for the sake of information only then I am ready provide you the details.

After graduation if you have scored above 65% ,then you can comfortably sit in almost all govt sector, public sector and even private sector exams. But I guess your eyes should be much above that 65% par score for a successful career.

If you have got 60% after graduation. Then also it would surely be a good enough score to fetch you a wonderful job after completion of your Engineering ,Medical etc.Since this is only minimum qualification set by mostly private and public sector organizations.

If you have got anything between 55 to 60 % in your graduation then your options will surely reduce to few sectors only.It can be sometimes very embarrassing because I have seen candidates having 59.95 % in their graduation but they are still not eligible to apply for most of the job openings which demand 60 % as their primary criteria.Hope you understand.

If you have secured 50 % to 55% then life can be very miserable for you.You really have to fight hard for success.Your options would be limited to one or two sectors only. Moreover competitions would be high and you may be subjected to rejections in many cases because of this low percentage.

If your percentage becomes less 50 then I feel sorry to say that there would be hardly any options left for you in the market. So take this as a warning or whatever in your language.Try to secure the best percentage for a successful career.Hope my information helps you.

    Regards Saurav
