    IBPS CWE Clerical exam:
    question paper consists of 5 sections with 250 marks and 250 questions(negative marking ) .So JOB seekers please be care full with the questions while you answering.Now its clear that while answering the questions which you know confidently only go with that answer instead losing the .25marks for attempting wrong answer

    The common written examination is conducted by the Indian institute of Banking Personnel. There are about 19 public sector banks who are taking place in this exam. SBI is the only nationalized bank which is not taking place in this procedure of Common written examinations. They will be conducting their recruitment procedures separately. The syllabus of the IBPS Common written bank exam is as follows –

    The test will include questions for around 250 marks. The time duration of this exam will be for about 2 ½ hours. The syllabus and the pattern of the Common written exam for the clerical cadre post will generally involve the following –
    • Test of Reasoning
    • Test of Numerical Ability
    • Test of General awareness (With special reference to the banking industry)
    • Test of Computer Knowledge
    • Test of English Language

    There will be around four sections in the exam. Each section will involve 50 questions carrying one mark each. There will be a negative marking in this exam. There will be 1/4th of the total mark assigned as negative marking. The candidate needs to score a minimum standardized score in each section separately. Those candidates who qualify in the written examinations will have to clear or attend the personal interview. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview.

    IBPS CWE clerk exam includes the following Syllabus:

    Test of Reasoning:

    This section consists of verbal and non-verbal questions. It will have questions from

    Analogies, visual memory, figure classification, relationship concepts, judgment, similarities, number series, differences etc. It will also focus on student’s abilities to solve abstract ideas, arithmetical computation etc.

    Test of English Language:

    In this section candidates knowledge in English would be tested. There will questions based on grammar, sentence correction, opposites, usage, synonyms, comprehension etc

    Test of Numerical Ability:

    This area is mainly based on arithmetical problems, fractions, decimals, whole numbers etc. It will not deal with any complicated arithmetical problems.

    Test of General Knowledge and General Awareness:

    This section aims on your aptitude and accuracy.
    You have to mainly deal with questions related to differences and similarities between figures, numbers or names.
    It will also cover topics like abbreviations, filing, indexing etc.



    Eligibility for Clerk posts:

    • Your age should be between 18-28 years.
    • You must me a citizen of India.
    • You should have min.60% in tenth OR
    • min.60% in your Inter OR pass in degree from any recognized University of India.

    The syllabus for CWE CLERK consists of 250marks.The 250 marks consists of
    1.Aptitude based questions.
    2.Reasoning questions.
    3.General awareness questions.
    4.General english.
    5.Descriptive section.
    There is a negative 0.25 marks for each questions.The notification was over for this year and exam is going to held on 27th nov 2011.For details www.ibps.in.

    1. Section 1-Objective type- 250 questions-225 marks-150 min.
    Reasoning-50 questions-50 marks.

    There are 19 public sector banks involved in the Indian institute of Banking Personnel(IBPS) who conduct the common written examination.The SBI is the only nationalized bank along with its associate banks, which is not included in the IBPS. They conduct their recruitment process separately at their own. The syllabus of the IBPS Common written bank exam consists of questions for around 250 marks. The time duration of this exam is 150 minutes. The pattern of the Common written exam for the clerical cadre post involves the Test of Reasoning, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General awareness (With special reference to the banking industry), Test of Computer Knowledge and Test of English Language. There are four sections in the exam. Each section involves 50 questions of one mark each. There is a negative marking system in this exam. There are 25% of the total marks assigned as negative marking. The candidate have to score a minimum standardized scores in each section separately. Only those candidates who qualify the written examinations are called for the interview.

    IBPS recruitment process include following two levels-
    * WRITTEN TEST.
    * PERSONAL INTERVIEW.

    written test consisting of 250 questions from five different sections or subjects. Each question given with 5 options from which candidates have to choose any one of these option as their answer. Their will be system of negative marking of 0.25 on every wrong answer.

    five sections or subjects are-
    # general english
    # general awareness with banking
    # logical reasoning
    # quantitative aptitude
    # computer knowledge.

    NOTE- 50 question will be asked from each section given above.

    The candidates will be called for interview after completing written test sucessfully. In interview the question will be asked generally from family background and other general question.

    IBPS ( Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts the common written exam CWE for posts PO's / Management Trainee and Clerk cadre.

    As the CWE for PO's has already completed now, IBPS conducting the CWE for Clerk cadre on 27th November 2011. From 14th November you can download the hall tickets.

    Dude the CWE for Clerk cadre mainly consists of 250 questions which you have to answer in 150 min and you should be very accurate and fast , so as to crack clerk cadre exam . You must learn mainly time management in Bank exams.
